On May 23, we will be celebrating Lucky Penny Day. And it won’t cost you anything to attend.

Maria, our Toastmasterfor the Day, says “I’ll probably just talk about luck/superstitions/fate/ or do we drive our own destinies?

Or maybe the fact that many people wouldn’t bother to pick up coins on the ground. Or maybe coins in general or special objects that we carry around with us.”

On May 16, we are celebrating Bike Anywhere Day! How Cycling Helps You Blaze a Trail, in health, & life.

The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition (SDCBC) hosts events and rides throughout the month, including a Bike Month Kick-Off Party and Ride. SANDAG also hosts bike activities throughout May, including Bike Anywhere Day on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Bike Anywhere Day is a free event that encourages people to ride to work, school, the beach, or anywhere.
